2015. Integration with Agoda

As part of our integration campaign with the main OTAs in the Market, we are pleased to officially announce the creation of a new Communication Protocol in the Seven Stars OTA Connectivity suite, the PMS of Class One Group . It is, in this case, the integration with agoda , one of the world’s leading Websites in hotel reservations, belonging to the PriceLine group, which has more than 1,300 professionals in the tourism sector distributed in more than 20 countries. The main headquarters are in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Sydney, Hong Kong and Budapest. Agoda.com is also physically present in some of the most important cities in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and America.

Through this new communication protocol it is possible to export Inventories (Availability and Rates) directly from the PMS, as well as automatically collect Reservations made through the Web.

Availability and Rates Update:

  • Quotas established for agoda, and Prices per day for the different Rooms, although a Room Type in the PMS may mean different Room Types in the OTA (Standard Double, Double with Sea View, Double Ground Floor, etc. , being able to increase or decrease the prices in percentage terms, depending on the Type of Room)
  • Days of Minimum Stay, maximum stay. Release Control (the only OTA to date)
  • Different Code Plans are automatically generated in agoda for the management of the Meal Plan (Room Only, Breakfast, Half Board, Full Board and All Include).
  • Price control for occupancy, minors and extra people.
  • Closing dates, and CTA (Close To Arrival), CTD (Close To Departure)
  • The possibility of scheduling the update is enabled so that it is carried out automatically (normally, every day at dawn, although it can be configured according to the needs of the Hotel). On the other hand, there is also the manual option that sends the data to the OTA at the time the user decides. The average time of an update for a whole year, both in the automatic and manual cases, is less than one minute.

Reception of Reservations:

  • The Reservation made through agoda is loaded directly into the PMS (the existence of new Reservations is verified through a periodic check, with a configurable frequency depending on the needs of the Hotel; e.g .: 10 ‘, 30’, once per day, etc.).
    • Due to the particularities of this OTA, it has become necessary to implement a verification of the prior existence in the PMS of each of the Reserves recovered, as well as the modifications made to them
    • When making the reservation request, a prior process is carried out to know which ones should be requested, and the same program will request pending reservations one by one.
  • After receiving each Reservation, a printout of the data associated with it is made (as well as an email is sent to the Head of Accommodations). In this way, the Hotel will perceive that a new Reservation has been loaded into its Computer Systems
  • Quota and Booking update automatically

Communication Tools:

  • Following the new trends for the optimization of communication between the Hotel and the OTA, direct access from the PMS to the master and transactional values ​​of: All Currencies, All Cxl Policies, All Languages, All Surcharges Types has been implemented , All Value Adds, Hotel Rate Plans, Hotel Room Setting, Hotel Room Types, Hotel Surcharge, Hotel Value Adds, Hotel Cxl Policies, Rate Matrix, Delete Hotel Inventory, Delete Hotel Promotion, Delete Hotel Surcharge, Delete Rate Matrix, Get Hotel Inventory , Get Hotel Promotions, Get Booking List, Get Booking Details (All Reservations, Check In-Out for one year, Modifications for one year), Set Hotel Surcharge. In this way, the Hotel will be able, in a simple way, to obtain all the relevant information for the configuration of communication, as well as the exhaustive inventory of Reservations (historical)
