Allar is the application developed by the Class One Group for Accounting management. In the market since 1982, (it has more than 1,500 facilities to its credit), it is a transversal module, that is, it is not specific to the Hospitality Sector, -although it is 100% integrable with the rest of the packages of the Class One Group: Seven Stars, StarPL, StarEcon, StarPOS, StarEvent, StarCard, …, and even external “satellite” systems that your Company is using on a daily basis; and that provides its users with a departmental financial and analytical fiscal management.

After more than 35 years of life, the program has reached a degree of maturity difficult to find in other applications on the market: although it has always remained faithful to the initial architecture (respecting the basic design principles of the first versions).

In response to the requests made by different Allar users, Class One develops between 1995 and 1998 Departmental Analytic generators that allow your Company to take advantage of all the economic information generated on a daily basis. This is a new module developed mainly for CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES and / or HOTELS, its functionality is the usual terminology of Cost Accounting. In the world of Hotels, it is a tool to obtain the reports called “Uniform Systems of Account for Hotels”, which are based on Departmental Balances with their various breakdowns of Income and / or Expenses. In this case, Class One has wanted to go further and shows us a possible cubic vision of the American Accounting style. Let’s see their explanation:

Let’s say that the NORMAL ACCOUNTING entries (FINANCIAL-ACCOUNTING), those of an analytical nature of Costs are hung, a determining qualifier of their TYPE of INCOME / EXPENDITURE, to which COST CENTER it is attributed and to which DEPARTMENT it corresponds.

Therefore, for this new module, in the first place, the three SUPRA-CONCEPTS already exposed must be defined or analyzed:

TYPE of INCOME / EXPENDITURE: There are some academics who prefer to call it ACTIVITY, instead of TYPE of ENTRY.
COST CENTERS: If we talk about WORKS, EACH WORK is evident, in the case of HOTELS, each HOTEL, etc.
DEPARTMENTS: Its own word defines it, eg MASONRY, PLUMBING, CARPENTRY, FLOORS, ADMINISTRATION, BARS …
